Sam established Coastal Forensics & Litigation to provide clients with the support and guidance they need to make smart, unemotional financial decisions as they navigate the often overwhelming divorce process. Prior to founding the firm, Sam was a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in New York City, where he developed financial plans, asset allocation models, and appropriate investment strategies for high-net-worth clients.

Born and raised in Savannah, Sam graduated from St. Andrew’s on the Marsh. He received a BA in Spanish from Furman University, in Greenville, South Carolina, and an MBA, with a dual concentration in finance and management, from Fordham University in New York City.

Sam also earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™) designations as well as holds life, health and accident life insurance licenses. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the Atlanta Society of Financial and Investment Professionals (ASFIP), the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA) and the Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP).
Sam is active in the local community, and is currently a member of:

-Hospice Savannah (Board Member, Foundation Board)

-St. Andrew’s School Endowment Investment Committee (Chair)

-St. Andrew’s School Alumni Board, Member and former President

-The Metropolitan Rotary Club, Member

-The Savannah Downtown Business Association, Member

Additionally, Sam was a member of the Leadership Savannah class of 2017-18.

After spending 16 years in New York City, he returned to Savannah with his wife and their two young sons in 2015. Sam enjoys running and biking, and completed the NYC Marathon in 2004. He is also proficient in Spanish.

Jenna LuCree, CPA, graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1999 with a degree in accounting and became a CPA in 2005 while working at Holland, Henry, & Bromley, LLP in Downtown Savannah where she became Audit Manager.

In 2008 Jenna went on to establish her own accounting business during which time she worked with businesses to establish in-house finance departments, served as Interim Finance Director for several local nonprofits, and performed fraud investigations including serving as an expert witness in Federal Court. In early 2017 Jenna joined another local CPA firm where she worked for over 6 years until joining Coastal Divorce Advisors in 2023.

Jenna has served on the board of several local non-profits including Interfaith Hospitality Network and Tabby Tales Rescue. She was a founding board member of the Susie King Taylor Community School (charter school) and The Nobis Project in Savannah. She served as VP of Finance during her many wonderful years with the Junior League of Savannah
